The Satori beta is an experiemental firmware release for the Linksys WRT54G.

USE OF THIS FIRMWARE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

The key changes are:

1) WDS support added in Wireless->WDS web page

2) Shorewall Firewall support added. To use shorewall edit the nvram variables named sh_*. 
These variables will be used to create the Shorewall configuration files in /var/shorewall in 
the RAM disk.

Do not run or enable Shorewall in the Management page if you can't configure it properly!!!

3) BIRD routing daemon has been added in the Setup->Advanced Routing option. The web
field will be used in its entirety to create the bird.conf config file. You can enable OSPF, BDP,
RIP, and anything else by filling in the appropriate config variables.


Tips
___

WDS - use /30 address (i.e. 255.255.255.252 netmask). WDS does not seem to route properly
otherwise.

WDS - WEP works but WAP TKIP appears no to.

Shorewall - the default configuration will lock you out of the box. Please add the proper Shorewall
config commands to allow forwarding, etc.

OSPF - it seems the default route forwarding is broken. Use a static route defined in "protocol static{}" 
to set the default route.
